Manufacturer's Panels Suitable For A Wide Range Of Projects

The versatility of Benchmark Architectural Systems' insulated panels has been shown over the years through their use on a variety of projects. Their ability to be curved makes them suitable for an even wider array of applications. Three such projects are the Port Columbus Airport-Concourse C expansion, the Shockley office building and Mundy's Mill High School. Completed in August 2000, the 30,000 sq. ft. Shockley office building in St. Charles, MO, utilized 3,200 sq. ft. of Benchmark Designwall 500 panels. The 24"-wide panels are comprised of a 22-gauge steel face with a Visulure Light Silver finish and a 1-1/8" expanded polystyrene foam core. The panels were curved to a 24' radius. Using these panels allowed for an economical, high-tech finished appearance. St. Charles-based Shockley Construction LLC was the general contractor. Parker Structures, Mt. Vernon, MO installed the panels and Lepique & Orne of St. Charles was the designer.
