摘要

Ferrite and cementite grain growth is seen on some heats of steel 08Yu when it is made by the standard technology in accordance with GOST 9045-93. A study was made of the effect of the chemical composition of the steel and the parameters of the hot- and cold-rolling operations on the microstructure of steel 08Yu. It was found that a low carbon content in the steel is the main factor affecting its microstructure.
