Japan sees jump in copper semis

The evidence from Japan continues to suggest that the metals consuming sectors are performing better than the economy as a whole. The latest data from the Japan Brass Makers Association tells a similar story with copper semis production remaining strong. Copper rolled product output totalled 97,261 tonnes in May, which represents a 7 percent year-on-year advance.
