The PPG Industries (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) protective and marine coatings (PMC) business announced it is supplying as much as 700 gal of paint to refurbish the Coney Island Cyclone roller coaster at Luna Park, which is regarded as one of the world's most famous amusement park rides. Through contractor Baynum Painting (Newport, Kentucky), PPG provided AMERCOAT~R 370 epoxy primer and PSX~R ONE acrylic-siloxane topcoat for the roller coaster's structural steel components, and SEAL GRIP~R primer along with PITT-TECH~R Plus topcoat for its wood surfaces.
