Bubbles, Biofluids, Blakelets and Bunkers! A meeting to celebrate the career of John Blake CMath FIMA

On Thursday 19 September, the School of Mathematics, University of Birmingham hosted a conference, Mathematical Challenges in Bubbles and Biological Fluid Dynamics, to celebrate the career of Professor John Blake. The meeting included thirteen internationally-distinguished speakers; and many of John's colleagues and students from over the years, representing 16 academic institutions and five companies. The meeting was generously supported by the LMS and IMA.
