Communicating with the Press

For a mathematician, communicating with the press may seem a daunting prospect. Firstly. most journalists are unlikely to be conversant in the language of mathematics and will insist on getting rid of any mathematical notation, not to mention equations. Secondly, they are likely to get it all wrong. And thirdly, they only want to trip us up and laugh anyway.
