In 2012 we had a very great success with our engagement with undergraduates. Erica Tyson MIMA, our University Liaison Officer, managed to deliver career opportunity presentations to 26 universities. This resulted in the enrolment of 1406 undergraduates into our e-Student scheme and thereby a 36% growth in our membership. We are all delighted with the very hard work that Erica has invested in this activity and the result that she has achieved. However, there is only so much that one part-time person can do. Therefore Erica is looking for IMA ambassadors who can help her carry the undergraduate careers and IMA talks to universities. The task is not onerous (I have agreed to help); if any members would be willing to support Erica in this role then please do get in touch (erica.tyson@ima.org.uk).
