Congratulations to Alan Pickup CMath MIMA who won the draw for a ￡40 book voucher. The puzzle was intended to lead up to the transformation of 28 to 29 reflecting the leap year effect in February. Most of the correct solutions followed this path but solvers also found a second solution occasioned by the loose wording of the 6ac clue. This allowed 6ac to be 44, not equal to 1 lac = 45, but entered as 45, an oversight on Zag's part. Both solutions were accepted.
