Indonesia's Tanjung Jati B fails to elicit bids

Indonesian IPP, Tanjung Jati B, has retendered for between 0.5mt and 1mt of low c.v. coal, after its low price ceiling detered potential suppliers. The tender for a 5,000kc GAR material for 2008 delivery was reissued last week and closes on October 23. The latest ceiling price, however, is less than 2 dollars/t higher and producers are sceptical that this will elicit bids.
