CHINA'S imports OF thermal coal, including bituminous and other coal as well as lignite, fell in April. The monthly figure inched down to 18.1mt, from 18.6mt in March, according to the latest statistics from China's customs authorities. April was up 2% year-on-year on the 17.7mt imported during the same month last year.
