Canadian Pacific workers end strike, opt for arbitration

Thousands OF UNIONISED workers at Canadian Pacific Railway returned to their jobs on February 17, after agreeing to end a strike and settle their labour dispute by arbitration. Engineers and conductors stopped working on the morning of February 15, following failed contract negotiations between the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference union and Canadian Pacific management.
