Non-isochoric bending and shearing

摘要

Two families of non-homogeneous finite deformations are treated. For each family, the governing system of second-order nonlinear partial differential equations reduces to a system of first-order nonlinear ordinary differential equations for homogeneous compressible elastic solids with arbitrary isotropic or anisotropic response.
