摘要

The non-oriented silicon steel sheets used as core laminations for electrical motors are generally punched in ring cores. Hence, it is necessary to reduce the iron loss and improve magnetic induction in the circumferential direction so as to reduce the energy loss of electrical motors. The {001} <0vw> texture is most favorable to circumferential magnetic properties [1]. Although the conventional manufacturing processes have been well established [2-4], the processes are still complicated and interminable. In the recent two decades, the progress in thin strip casting offers a possibility to manufacture silicon steel sheet by eliminating the continuous casting and hot-rolling steps in the conventional manufacturing processes [5-9].
