摘要

My exposure to the third-party warehouse industry is now over thirty years old and I have certainly noticed a lot of changes. Third-party warehouse providers over the years have greatly increased their professionalism and capability. But personally, I believe that as the industry has matured and they have become larger and more mainstream, they have lost something that their forebears had. In the old days third-party warehouse providers liked to boast that they could handle anything. And over the years they have. Let's look at some of the more unusual situations with which they have been confronted. The first happened to a third-party provider in Quebec City, Le Entrepot Ideal (now Dec Logistique), over 25 years ago.
