Stop equipment failure in its tracks

PREDICTIVE maintenance (PdM) and reliability centred maintenance (RCM) programs at manufacturing facilities regularly use thermal imaging cameras for inspecting mechanical and electrical components. Nearly all electro-mechanical equipment becomes anomalously warm before it fails, making thermal imaging cameras effective diagnostic tools in the manufacturing environment. Inspections using infrared cameras can find most problems before failure occurs.
