摘要

This paper reports an iterative numerical algorithm for the calculation of an electromagnetic force and velocity field induced by a system of rotating permanent magnets in liquid metal. Particularly, a system of two pairs of counter-rotating permanent magnets placed at the opposite sides of a rectangular vessel with liquid gallium is considered. We discuss the numerical aspects of the algorithm and the determination of the numerical degrees of freedom as well as the results 3D distributions of Lorenz forces and velocity fields obtained from numerical simulations.
