New co-op helps Ontario horticulture take a bite out of its telephone bill Ontario's horticultural industry is banding together to take a substantial bite out of its telephone charges through the creation of a new cooperative. Flowers Canada (Ontario)Inc. and the Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Growers' Association (OF&VGA) have combined forces to form the FFV-TEL Telephone Co-Operative Inc. which is operated by members, for their own use. Barney Wilson, retired executive director of Flowers Canada (Ontario), is secretary treasurer of the new co-op. He says the scheme has been well received.
