Flange Equation

The main problem I found when manufacturing flanges was working out the amount of glass needed to form the flange. This often lead to a lot of trial and error in guessing the amount of glass needed as well as forcing you to manufacture the flange first and building around the preformed flange. The flange equation is a simple mathematical equation which provides you with the length of tubing required informing a flange.
