Southwest Section

On May 14, the Southwest Section converged in Austin, TX for its annual meeting. Michael Ronalter and Adam Kennedy hosted the event at the University of Texas glass shop. The meeting was a good mix of both new and familiar faces: President Curt Sexton came out to the Lone Star State for the festivities which a total of twelve glassblow-ers and four vendors attended. Sponsors of the meeting included Ace Glass, Inc., Chemglass Life Sciences, Technical Glass Products, Inc., and Wilmad/LabGlass.
