Characteristics of TIG Electrodes Relevant to Scientific Glassblowing

This paper provides basic information on several forms of tungsten rod available to scientific glassblowers, most notably TIG welding electrodes. Various chemical and physical aspects are discussed relative to their use and expected performance in various applications.
