William J. "Bill" Wilt, 56, died March 2, 2006 at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany, from complications of leukemia after a long and courageous battle. Born and raised in the Capital District, he was the son of the late William A. and Lillian Wilt. A graduate of Shaker High School and Gordon College in Wenham, MA, Bill received his bachelor's degree in Language. For many years he worked and resided in Rhode Island, where he met and married his beloved wife, Christine S. Wilt. He had been a resident of Castleton for the past 12 years.
