The 2009 Joseph Gregar Junior Members Workshop will be held at the Red Lion Hotel in Vancouver, Washington. I have been told by Symposium Chair Victor Mathews and several of our national directors that this will be a great site for our annual symposium. The Workshop program is open to the first twelve National Junior / Student members who are registered for the ASGS Symposium. We will have our 4-station quartz and 8-station borosilicate set up for bench work allowing each participant to have their own torch and workstation. We will also have a glass lathe available for some of the projects and a wet saw for cutting demonstrations.
