摘要

Description of a three-step liver perfusion system used for the successful isolation ofvi able human hepatocytes. Scientific glassblowing provides a unique opportunity for the design and application of specialized research apparatus. One area utilizing custom glassware is Transplantation Research. Improvements in apparatus and techniques have increased the functional quality of isolated hepatocytes and significantly influenced subsequent responses to specific research needs.
