Junior Liaison

This time of year is always a tough time to write this report because it has to be submitted just before we travel to the national symposium. Nonetheless, I am very excited about this year's program. The Junior Member Workshop program has been filled for about five weeks now. The junior program will be held in the symposium hotel which makes it much easier for everyone and eliminates the hassle of bus travel to a remote location. I have four excellent and talented instructors joining me again this year: special thanks go to President Ron Bihler of Technical Glass, Gary Coyne of California State University LA, Dan Edwards of Northern Illinois University, President-Elect James Hodgson of Kansas State University and Robert Singer of Technical Glass Products. These instructors are well-known not only by their quality reputations as excellent scientific glass-blowers but also from their past records as marvelous teachers. Each brings along with them some very special talents.
