Holset 'turbocharges' parts cleaning

Turbocharger manufacturer and reconditioner Holset Engineering, has installed a range of cleaning equipment from the Wheelabrator Group. A new vibratory bowl machine, three table-type blasting machines, two basket-type washing machines and six ultrasonic cleaning systems allow Holset to clean, peen, wash and vibratory finish parts at its Huddersfield reconditioning facility. With more than 120 units already processed each week, the company needed to increase throughput of reconditioned turbochargers.
