Two Taiwan oil giants have announced plans of their own.Formosa Petrochemical Corp.(FPCC),which is part of the Formosa Plastics Group,Taiwan's largest private company,will build a 10,000 barrel per day (bpd) Group II/IIIbase oil plant.Chinese Petroleum Corp.(CPC),which currently has 70% of Taiwan's gasoline and diesel fuel market,intends to build a 5,000 bpd GroupII/III base oil plant as well.
