"We have significantly increased near miss reporting to encourage our drivers and staff to report anything they consider potentially hazardous or unsafe. Near miss reporting is a key tool in eliminating potential incidents before they occur. Once a near miss is raised it is entered into a centralised system and not closed until a satisfactory resolution has been achieved."
