Fuel Oil News recently visited UK Fuels, one of Britain's leading mid-market private companies*. Operating from its Eurocard Centre headquarters at Crewe in Cheshire, UK Fuels manages over two billion litres of fuel annually and issues more than 60,000 fuel cards a month. The company was founded 21 years ago by Bill Holmes who, having gained a degree in biochemistry from Leeds University, spent five years with Esso selling bulk diesel and learning about fuel marketing.
