An interview with Edmundo Ruiz, chief executive of Hortifrut Worldwide and Francisco Ortizar, director of Euroberry Marketing S.A. and of Hortifrut Es-pana Southern Sun SL. We are an integrated company specialising in berries. Which means berries andnothing else. We handle marketing, sales and distribution, As these are highly sensitive fruits, though, we also take a part in organising transport. You see, transport is the key factor which ultimately decides whether the produce arrives in a marketable condition or not. Of course, we are also involved in production - of the planting material and of the product itself.
