People as mortals sometimes think about what might be the best way to die. How about the worst way? One candidate for worst might be to have some immature creature about the size of a mouse get inside your body and start consuming you from within. Itwould know how to avoid eating parts that would kill you immediately, so that you would remain semi-alive to provide for its needs. It might even secrete chemicals that would make you behave in ways that benefitted it while hurting you; for example, it might make you eat foods that it liked but were noxious for you. When it grew to maturity, say to about three feet long, it would chew a hole in your thorax and squeeze out, leaving you—what else?—dead. And kinda hollow.
