The hygienic and aseptic production systems as well as measurement instruments which come in contact with the product, must guarantee that the hygienic and aseptic criteria are satisfied. The competitive situation in the food and consumer industries is continuously increasing requiring that measures be initiated to improve and optimize quality, productivity and profit. Therefore, in order gain entry into new marketing sectors a ceaseless search for new methods, production procedures and product innovations is necessary to 'eliminate uneconomical operations and to produce market oriented products.
