With an original land base of 1 20 acres, DawsonProduce Ltd. and 3D Farms of Augustine Cove, Prince Edward Island, has evolved into a thriving potato operation, presently farming 1000 acres of land on a three-year rotation. David Dawson, who is now the senior partner in the family business, takes care of the selling, while his brother Paul takes care of the fanning side. The brothers lost their father Gordon to cancer five years ago, and grandfather Eldon, who gave the farm it's roots, passed away three years ago.
