American Gas Association Welcomes New Chairman NW Naturals Gregg Kantor; McCurdy: President Obama Deserves More Credit

On Dec. 6 the American Gas Association (AGA) welcomed as its new chairman, Gregg Kantor, who is president and CEO of Northwest Natural, a local distribution company (LDC) serving western Oregon and southwest Washington. AGAs president, Dave McCurdy introduced Kantor to a crowd of journalists, saying that the quality of Kantors leadership brings vast experience in public policy and successfully running businesses, much needed in todays natural gas revolution. Kantor stressed a growing cooperative spirit between the industry and environmentalists, at least in the Pacific Northwest.
