摘要

Energy Ventures Analysis, Inc. (EVA), in its FUELCAST: 2010 Short-Term Overview, asserts that assessment of the changes in demand and supply indicates the overall balance for the natural gas market likely will transition from one of significant excess supply in 2009 to somewhat reduced excess supply in 2010 and 2011. The assessment is based upon average annual demand and supply levels, "which means there likely will be significant seasonal variations as supply components adjust throughout the months and demand changes in response to weather variations," the study noted. According to EVA, the number one "tension point" in the future supply assessment is the near-term outlook for U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports.
