SFPP'S Latest Tariff Adjustments in Conjunction with Compliance Rate Filing Triggers New Stream of Protests and Requests That Outcome Is Made Contingent on Unfinished Court and FERC Proceedings

Chevron Products Co., Valero Marketing and Supply Co., Continental Airlines, Inc., Delta Air Lines, Inc., Southwest Airlines Co., and US Airways, Inc. (referred to collectively as "Chevron/Valero and the Airline Shippers") are united in opposition to a new set of tariff submissions filed by SFPP LP (IS12-145) on 1/30/12 in conjunction with a compliance filing in the West Line rate proceeding (IS08-390) following a FERC ruling on 12/16/11 (Opinion 511-A). According to this group of shippers, the SFPP filings do not explain how the proposed rates were developed.
