FERC Addresses Electronic Filing and Standards Issues Bothering A Relatively Small Pipeline – Discovery Gas Transmission

Discovery Gas Transmission LLC (RP09-673, RP11- 1521) had requested rehearing of the July 30 order addressing FERC regulations Version 1.9 of the NAESB WGQ Standards in Order No. 587-U. In a subsequent petition, Discovery requested a waiver of, among other things, the same standards it had sought permanent waiver of in relation to Order No. 587-T. The Commission on 2/3/12 denied Discovery's request for rehearing of the July 30 order1 and instead considered its request as it pertains to the NAESB WGQ Version 1.9 Standards. Discovery's revised tariff record, FERC ruled, complies with the October 28 order and is accepted effective 11/1/10, subject to Discovery filing revised tariff records within 15 days.
