FERC OKAYS LATERAL TO SERVE ETHANOL MANUFACTURING PLANT IN WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA

The Commission on 2/19/09 authorized T.W.Phillips Pipeline Corp.(CP09-3)to construct,own,and operate a 6-inch diameter lateral pipeline that will run 8 miles from a new interconnection with Columbia Gas Transmission Co.in Boggs Township,Pa.,to an ethanol production plant in Clearfield,Pa.,west of State College.Bionol Clearfield LLC,the sole shipper,is building the 265 million plant.The lateral will provide up to 11,200 MMBtu/d.Bionol contracted for only 10,000 MMBtu/d of firm transportation capacity and will pay a negotiated rate.The estimated cost of the project is 7.1 million.T.W.Phillips(PF08-19)underwent pre-filing environmental review.(FNGR No.2704,p42)
