CROWN LANDING ADMITS LNG TERMINAL PROJECT IS STYMIED UNTIL AT LEAST 2013 AND So SEEKS EXTENSION FROM FERC AS IT REWORKS THE PROJECT

Crown Landing LLC(CP04-411)requested that the Director of the Commission's Office of Energy Projects approve an extension of time from 6/20/09 until 10/31/43 for .Crown Landing to complete construction and place in service the facilities that were authorized by the Commission on 6/20/06.Crown Landing and Texas Eastern Transmission,LP(CP04-416)filed concurrently for permissions respectively to build a liquefied natural gas(LNG)terminal in Logan Township,New Jersey,and pipeline facilities from the terminal to an interconnection with Texas Eastern's pipeline in Pennsylvania.The Commission required Crown Landing and Texas Eastern to construct their authorized facilities and make them available for service within three years from the date of the certificate.
