Tiger Pipeline Nabs Another Shipper as Certificate Application Undergoes Review at FERC; Energy Transfer Partners Aggressively Expand Pipeline Capacity in South and Southwest

ETC Tiger Pipeline, LLC (CP09-460, PF09-9) on 8/31/09 filed a formal certificate application with FERC requesting: (1) authorization to construct and operate a new approximately 175-mile, 42-inch diameter natural gas pipeline in Texas and Louisiana capable of transporting up to 2 MMdth/d; (2) a blanket certificate authorizing ETC Tiger to engage in certain self-implementing routine activities; and (3) a blanket certificate authorizing ETC Tiger to transport natural gas on an open access and self-implementing basis under Part 284 of the regulations. Additionally, ETC Tiger sought approval of its proposed interim period rates and initial recourse rates, and pro forma tariff.
