In Rehearing Order, FERC Reaches Broad Range of Issues Still Hanging over Authorized Merger of Missouri Interstate, Missouri Gas and Missouri Pipeline to Form MoGas Pipeline

On 2/19/08 FERC addressed rehearing petitions and a compliance filing, both stemming from its 4/20/07 order authorizing the merger of Missouri Interstate Gas, LLC (Missouri Interstate), Missouri Gas Co., LLC (Missouri Gas), and Missouri Pipeline Co., LLC (Missouri Pipeline) (CP06-407). That order also terminated as moot the proceeding in Docket No. RP06-274 in which Missouri Interstate had filed its three-year cost and revenue study as required by a 2002 certificate order. Three parties filed requests for rehearing and clarification of the April 20 order. The Commission granted rehearing, in part, and denied rehearing, in part, and made some clarifications. The compliance filing was submitted on 7/5/07 by MoGas Pipeline LLC (MoGas), the new name for the interstate pipeline that will result.
