Atmos Energy Insists American Midstream (Midla) “Misses the Mark” on Key Issues With Regard to the Open Season Terms it Complained Of and Midla’s Gas System Abandonment Plans

Atmos Energy Corp. insists there are no grounds for dismissal of its complaint lodged against American Midstream (Midla), LLC (RP14-638). Atmos’ complaint challenged Midla’s Open Season notice and process, and its refusal to process and extend Atmos’ service agreements. Atmos believes that Midla is bound by its tariff and certificate obligations until such time that FERC grants Midla its requested abandonment authority. Atmos maintains that Midla violated these legal and contractual obligations.
