This book is a result of a sponsored study to assess and advance membrane integrity monitoring methods for microfiltration (MF) and ultrafiltration (UF) processes-a matter that has taken on greater prominence following the more frequent occurrence of Cryptosporidium.Membrane integrity is critical to ensure consistent production of high quality water,for which detection of faults in the membrane is a pre-requisite.
