Wood wise The vie from the sharp end: Just a few days before the APF, and it's time once more for the Weald Woodfair

Sorry about the break last month, but reaching the half century and achieving twenty years of marriage prompted us to go on the 'big' vacation this year. But I think I'll save the tale of that for another time. Anyway, barely have we recovered from jet lag and got back into work mode than it's Weald Woodfair time again. I can't believe it's thirteen years since a few woodsmen, craftsmen and local dealers got together in a sunny field and held the first ever Woodfair in the South East. At the time itseemed something new, a little bit different and therefore interesting to do. That first show was deemed something of a success and so the decision was made to make it an annual event - smart move I'd say.
