Upgraded desalination RO elements offer higher flow rates

摘要

Imporvements to Dow's Film Tec~TM SW30 seawater reverse osmosis (RO) membrane line has produced a system that can handle a 20% gain in flow rates,together with high salt rejection rates.The upgraded Filmtec SW30 membrane range offers a permeate flow rate up to 7.4 m~3/d,a maximum feed flow rate of 3.6m~3/h and a salt rejection rate of 99.4% for both land and sea based desalinators.
