Eriez Magnetics Europe (www.en-gb.eriez.com) have designed and developed an extensive range of separators utilising magnetic principles, and at REW in Turkey in June 2011 Eriez showcased their latest systems for ferrous and non-ferrous metal recovery.Eriez's latest systems include their new RevX-E? eddy current separator which is the first eddy current separator from Eriez to have an eccentric magnetic rotor to allow a single point of separation, which is different from the usual concentric design. The RevX-E? is ideally suited for purifying cullet and plastics, and recovered valuable metal from secondary metals and incineration ash, especially the separation of small particles. The new Eccentric ECS was fully operational at the show and available for testing.
