Its Sustaining a living Wales - a new approach to natural resource management in Wales green paper is now in consultation, as well as, Natural resources Wales-arrangements for creating the single environment body. These documents take forward the government's plans to achieve sustainable development in Wales. At its recent single environment body consultation conference, Confer reiterated the need to communicate effectively theway in which Welsh forestry can assist the Welsh government in its new targets and commitments. The government has chosen a relatively new approach to managing the environment, natural resources and the land: the ecosystem approach.
