LAROX WINS MAJOR ORDERS FROM SOUTHERN AFRICA

Larox (www.larox.com) has secured significant new contracts worth a combined euro 7.5 million to supply filters and a turnkey filter building to mining companies in Southern Africa.Orders were booked for the third quarter of 2007.Deliveries will take place during 2008.Outotec Oyj,Finland,has ordered Ceramec disc filters for their project to be delivered to the Republic of South Africa.This is the third pelletising and sinter plant order Outotec has been awarded from Samancor Chrome.The new plant will produce 600,000 tonnes of sintered pellets annually from chromite ore and it will be built in Middelburg.The plant is expected to be commissioned towards the end of 2008.
