摘要

In a letter sent to the White House, more than 50 leading scientists, seafood industry representatives and investors from the United States called upon US President Barack Obama to urge the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to move forward on a decision on genetically modified salmon. The letter suggests the FDA process of science-based review in the genetically modified salmon case might be compromised by politics.
