Ten Peruvian fishmeal and fish oil companies posted a cumulative loss of PEN 242 million (?63 million/$87.1 million) during 2013, with only two companies recording profits, according to data from the country's National Fisheries Society (SNP)."In 2013,10 of the 12 fishmeal and fish oil firms which are members of SNP suffered losses, i.e only two companies made a profit," said Elena Conterno, president of the SNP.
