Lanxess Investing ?235-Million in China To Build 'World's Largest' EPDM Plant

Shanshai-Lanxess said it is investing ?235-million, its biggest investment to date in China, to build the "world's largest" ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) plant in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. The new plant, for which all necessary permits have been obtained from local officials, will have the capacity to produce 160,000 t/y of EPDM using Keltan ACE technology. The plant is scheduled to come on stream in 2015.
